At Grid Finder, we believe in transparency. That's why we've overhauled how we communicate changes to the platform. We've been cooking in the background (with small patch notes in our Discord) but from now on we're launching two dedicated sections: News and Patch Notes.
But first, we have a major feature update to share.
Drop Rounds: A Game Changer for Championships
We've completely reimagined how Drop Rounds work to give league managers more control and drivers clearer expectations.
What's New?
- Drop by Event or Session: You can now choose to drop an entire Event (all sessions combined) or individual Sessions. This is perfect for leagues that run multiple races per round.
- Drop by Points or Position: Choose between dropping the rounds with the Lowest Points (standard) or the Worst Finishing Position. Great for consistency-based series!
- Flexible Configuration: Easily toggle these settings in the "Car Classes" section of your championship setup.
Seamless Upgrade: All existing championships have been automatically updated to keep their current behavior (Drop by Event / Lowest Points), so you don't need to lift a finger unless you want to change settings.
News
This section (where you are right now) is for deeper dives. Expect to see:

Patch Notes
We ship code almost every day. Until now, those smaller changes often went unnoticed. The new Patch Notes section is a direct feed from our development team.
- Chronological Timeline: See exactly what changed and when.
- Clear Categories: We tag every update to specify which area of the platform was improved.
- No Fluff: Just the raw details of what we've improved.
Discord Integration
Best of all, you don't need to keep refreshing the site. We've hooked this system up to our Discord server. Whenever we publish a new story or push a patch, our bot will instantly post a formatted update to our 'Dev Logs' channel in our Discord server.
